What a fingerprint does and does not prove

It proves

The dataset has not been edited, padded or trimmed since it was sealed.
How many responses it held at the moment of sealing.
That the people who answered were compensated — the payment record is inside the digest, not beside it.
When it was sealed, independently, where a ledger anchor exists.

It does not prove

That the questions were well designed, or the sample representative.
That a conclusion drawn from the data is correct.
Anything about a dataset that was never sealed here.
